DESCRIPTION:Sunday\, Feb 16th 2025\n\n\n\n\nBach to Rock Fishers Presents: \nHeartbeat Music Festival\nHeartbeat Music Festival is a benefit concert celebrating the life and journey of local educator\, musician\, and author Peter Van Schoick. For over two years\, Peter has lived with a Left Ventricular Assist Device (LVAD)\, and he’s recently received the green light for a heart transplant. As a dedicated instructor at Bach to Rock Music School\, Peter has been a beacon of positivity and inspiration for his students and colleagues. Now\, it’s our chance to give back to this incredible community member! \nThe festival will feature live performances from local musicians and bands\, including Milligan and The JBJ Collective. A family focused event\, Peter’s band\, Holy Liars\, will also reunite for a special performance with the help of Peter’s son Jack on the drums! \nWe hope you’ll join us for an afternoon of music and community! Tickets are just $10 and can be purchased at the door or in advance at Bach to Rock Fishers. DESCRIPTION:Saturday\, Feb 22nd 2025\n\n\n\n\nAcademy of Dance Arts\, Fishers Arts Council\, and ADA Booster Club Present: \nFree Modern/Contemporary Dance Workshop\nA FREE fun & encouraging modern/contemporary dance class for anyone ages 7 & up. We will learn basic dance skills based on Martha Graham Modern technique and other Contemporary dance skills. A short performance with all dancers in the class along with Integrity Ensemble will follow the class. Parents can watch what their dancer has learned in the workshop. \nThis dance workshop is made possible by funding from Fishers Arts Council and ADA Booster Club. \nWorkshop will run from 2pm-3:30pm. \nAdmission: FREE – but you must register in advance.
