DESCRIPTION:Friday\, May 16th & Saturday\, May 17th 2025\n\n\n\n\nLantern Islamic Theater Company’s 2025-2026 Masjid Tours production of “Red Riding Hood.”\nGuided by her trust in Allah (SWT)\, young Rahma embarks on a perilous journey through the Black Forest to provide her sickly grandmother with goods. Warned by others\, she is also hunted by a cunning yet bloodthirsty Wolf. \nLantern Islamic Theater’s performance team is embarking on a tour across various U.S. masjids to present their one-act Islamic folktale\, Red Riding Hood. Written by Mohamed Amin and adapted from the Brothers Grimm classic\, this production is designed for audiences of all ages. Featuring an entirely Muslim youth cast\, the play blends Islamic storytelling with creative artistry\, aiming to inspire Muslim communities across the U.S. to embrace Islamic theatre as a meaningful and innovative form of community engagement. \nThe play features a cast of 9 actors. The total run time is 50 minutes. \nDoors open at 6:00pm\, Performance will run from 6:30pm-7:30pm. \nGeneral Admission: $10 – Click the link below to purchase tickets \n  \n
